About Valerie Kumer
Valerie Kumer is a PhD student at the Geophysical Institute, University of Bergen in Norway. Her PhD is in the field of experimental wind energy meteorology in which she studies wind turbine wakes with Doppler LiDAR wind measurements. Becoming a student in the Research School of Climate Dynamics (Resclim) triggered her interest in scientific outreach. She has participated in scientific writing workshops and published on ClimateSnack. Kumer works with Mathew in spreading ClimateSnack to other Universities.
