Dr. Benjamin Kanagwa

Dr. Kanagwa will lead the Research Component 4 team that will design and develop the weather information dissemination system (WIDS). The WIDS will present relevant and suitably packaged information to different stakeholders in urban and rural areas in a way that it is understandable to them and they can therefore use it in decision-making.
Dr. Kanagwa a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Networks in SCIT. He holds a PhD in computer science specializing in web services from Radboud University, Nijmegen (Netherlands). His research focuses on service-oriented systems, enterprise systems and real-time systems for enterprises. Benjamin was a manager of National Incubation Center for 2 years overseeing and the nurturing several business concepts in mobile and web technology. Benjamin coordinates the software engineering research group.
